Vagabonds – Steam Packet

Brief – To create a visually compelling video to showcase the Isle of Man Steam Packet Support of the Vagabonds Ladies Team.

Our Approach – We began our approach by discussing the outputs and messaging for the video with both the Ladies from Vagabonds and the Stakeholders from the Steam Packet. We then began the idea creation and started to lay the foundations of the video in a storyboard format. Our main aim throughout the video was the focus on the Empowerment given to the ladies in enabling them to compete. For this project we:

• Storyboard and Idea Creation

• Crew Assembly (1 Sound Technician, 1 Lighting Engineer, 3 Camera Operators)

• Videography – Photography – Lighting – Audio Mixing

• Post Production / Photo Editing

• Colour Grade

• Final Exports, Deliveries and Cut downs

To capture this, we used a variety of Camera’s, audio recording equipment, and lighting. Varying from Sony, Canon, Sennheiser, Small-rig and Aperture. This project was a really fun one for our team, to work with a group of individuals so passionate for what they do and showcase what they do for Women in Sport on our Island was really inspiring.

The Result –  This project was nominated & a finalist for Brand Film Awards alongside Nissan & Vodafone.
